Our Story
FRĒO is born from freedom, a union of style, comfort, and earth-conscious living.
In February 2024, FRĒO began in Nepal at the base of the Himalayas, not as a business plan, but as a moment of recognition. The founder traveled there with the intention of attending a mindfulness retreat, but that was never the full reason for the journey. She was there to discover FRĒO, and she did through the search for the right fabric, the right feeling, and a slower way of creating clothing that feels like wearing the earth itself. We work with natural hemp fabrics to create timeless, one-size-fits-all designs meant to move with you and remind you of your own ease.
At FRĒO, our ethics are rooted in conscious creation. We honor the earth by working with natural, undyed hemp fabrics and supporting artisan communities where our journey began. Every piece is made with the intention of reducing waste, embracing simplicity, and offering clothing that empowers freedom of movement for all bodies. We believe in slow fashion, designing not just for style, but for longevity, comfort, and connection to nature.
From the Himalayas, the vision was carried back to Los Angeles, California, where FRĒO was shaped into something real. The founder collaborated with a few of her closest friends to bring the brand to life, pouring care into every detail, from the names, to the design, to the intention behind every piece. What started as a discovery became a living offering, clothing that feels like breath, like home, like freedom.

Our handmade hemp clothing is created for those who enter ceremonial spaces with intention.
Hemp is one of the most sustainable and durable natural fibers, grown with minimal water, without pesticides, and free from harmful chemicals, fully biodegradable and gentle on both the Earth and the skin.
Valued in many traditions for being breathable, non-synthetic, and electrically neutral, hemp supports comfort and a grounded, balanced feeling when worn close to the body.
